Nerves

Oh my gosh.  4 days until marathon.  I'm SO nervous just thinking about it.  Good thing I have a very busy day ahead of me so I don't have to think about it.

I skipped my last short run because I've been having pain in my heel that's gotten progressively worse for the past month.  I think at this point I'd rather hold out until marathon day and allow it to get worse then, not during a short run beforehand.  Sooo, that means that we walk 3 miles on Friday and then we're done and waiting.  Bah.

We got to go to the Rockies game last night (and we went on Saturday too)- sweet for free tickets.  I tried really hard, but I couldn't resist.  I got a beer at the game.  We happened to have cash on us and we never do, so it was much easier to spend the cash than it would be with a card (isn't it backwards for most other people?).  It was a good beer though, so definitely worth it.

Ok, but no more alcohol or caffeine until after the marathon.  I've been struggling with laying off the sugar too.  I made milk-free brownies yesterday because I couldn't hold off.  I'm going to try to be good now....

4 days.  AHHH.

Hey, some how or other you'll cross the finish line, and that's all that counts! And after that finish line, you can eat whatever the heck you want. :)
