Marathon morning

It's marathon day!  Jake and I couldn't exactly sleep late so we're up and drinking our gatorade and I'm drinking/eating my smoothie.  It's a lot of fluid to try to get down... bah.

So, I think this fact is quite amusing.  As of this morning, I have officially lost 50 pounds.  Not as of yesterday, not any other day, but on marathon day.  Funny stuff.  I had stopped losing weight but apparently if you try to eat less sugar, caffeine, and other bad stuff, you tend to lose weight.  Funny.  Jake also reminded me that I will lose a bunch in water weight today too, so I won't be at 50 pounds for much longer!

Hey, Elizabeth - Pam said you had heel pain - have you had it diagnosed? I have the same thing, and I went to the doctor in June and he diagnosed it as plantar fasciitis. Which is extremely painful and hard to get rid of. I've had it since the beginning of June. Does it hurt if you push in the middle of your heel?

Can't wait to hear how the marathon went!

You will also lose approximately 2 pounds of actual weight today! That's a LOT of exercise. :) Good luck guys! You've prepped like crazy and it will be the experience of a lifetime whether it goes perfectly or you have a few stories to tell at the end of it, so relax and enjoy.
