Day at home

Today we decided to stay home from church.  We were supposed to be running a marathon, so Jake was not scheduled to be "on duty," and we've been talking about staying home at some point soon.  Jake hasn't had a day off of duty from church since Easter (not including the weekend we were in Iowa), so we were anxious to get a day off to just relax.  Here's what we decided to do with our time.

-Slept in until 8:30!!
-Played with the wii a little bit
-Went to Champps to eat and watch the Cowboys game
(Jake was brilliant and got extra bacon for me while he was at the breakfast buffet so that I could put it on my hamburger so we didn't have to pay more for bacon. Seriously.  Brilliant.)
-Went to Sunflower for a couple of grocery items
-Dropped by the tropical fish store for fun
-Thought about how hot it was and how thankful we were not to be running a marathon
-Chilled on our computers
-Watched more football
-Played "Taboo" by ourselves
-I had a 2 hour conversation with Karine about wedding planning while Jake watched more football
-Ate pita pizzas (with chicken, hummus, pinto beans and veggies- yummy!)- well at least I did.  Jake was too full from his buffet. :)
-Studied Hebrew/wrote case notes (guess which one of those I did?)
-To bed before 10pm

Not too shabby of a day if you ask me. :)
