Today was the first day that Jake and I had to run separately. I worked my first LONG shift which made it so that there was no good time for us to run together. I ran this morning and he ran this afternoon when it was supposed to be gorgeous outside. When I got home, I had the following conversation with my loving husband.
Me: "How was your run?"
Jake: "It was good."
Me: "Was it super nice outside?"
Jake: "Yes, it was nice. Hang on, I answered your question without really listening to it... it kinda stunk a little."
Wow. That is how amazing of a listener my husband is. Such a man.

So does that mean the weather kind of stunk or the run kind of stunk? Hopefully it was the weather :)
How far did you go? Feels good, doesn't it!
The run kind of stunk for him. Both of us were realizing yesterday how much running together helps with motivation. The weather was absolutely beautiful actually - it was in the 60s mid day!
We're still running for time right now, and this week we are running for 10 minutes at a time. We'll finally start running for distance the first week of June. :)
