Thief

This morning Jake and I went to get donuts (big treat for me since they contain milk).  We found a great local place, ordered our donuts, and sat down to feast.  I tried both of my donuts, but then settled in to eat my double chocolate cake donut (my absolute favorite).  Jake had one cake donut and a cinnamon roll, and offered me a bite of his cinnamon role to try it.  I could tell I was getting full off of my one donut, so I told him no since I wanted my last few bites of donut to be from my chocolate wonderfulness.  I had also mentioned just prior to him offering that I was going to need to get a bag for my leftover donut.

After I finished, I was looking around at the donuts and taking in the place since it was the first time we had been there.  After a minute or two, I looked back onto the tray and....  (I can't even type this without laughing.)

... my donut was gone.

I looked at Jake, and he was licking his fingers.  I was SO mad at him at first and in complete shock that he would have the guts to eat my leftover donut without even asking.  Jake claims that he never heard me saying I was going to ask for a leftover bag, and that by me saying that I wanted my last bite to be the chocolate, that I was apparently offering him my leftover donut.  The look on his face was priceless, too.  He could tell I was pissed and didn't really know what to do.  Apparently he's not seen me that angry before.  After that, I started laughing hysterically and couldn't stop because it was SO funny.  Seriously, who does that?

So I ate one donut.  And had no leftovers.

And I'm STILL laughing.
